Custards

Food Historians believed that cook in ancient Rome were the first to discover the ability of eggs to bind things together Roman cook used this knowledge to produce sweet and savory products. custards were used to hold meat, fruit, dried fruit, nuts and vegetables in a product . custard was first eaten by itself in the middle ages as a dessert. this now resembles the modern day custard.
